Applications: Screens, wardrobes, windows, etc.
Features and uses of screen hinges:
1. Modern interior design increasingly favors quality and high-end products, often opting for solid wood doors or steel-wood composite doors. Solid wood doors are susceptible to environmental influences. If the moisture content is too high, humidity fluctuates significantly, or the door absorbs a lot of moisture during use, and the hinges are not properly secured, the door can easily warp or sag, rendering it unusable. Installing three-piece hinges provides more stable door fixation, preventing sagging or warping.
2. Installation method: According to the product's actual hole spacing specifications, place the door in the correct position, then use rivets or the provided screws to directly rotate and tighten until secure.
Installation Steps:
(1) Before installation, verify that the hinges match the door/window frame and sash.
(2) Check that the hinge slot matches the hinge height, width, and thickness.
(3) Check that the hinges and their connecting screws and fasteners are compatible.
(4) The hinge connection method should match the material of the frame and sash. For example, for hinges used on steel-framed wooden doors, the side connecting to the steel frame is welded, while the side connecting to the wooden door sash is fixed with wood screws.
(5) If the two hinge plates are asymmetrical, determine which plate should connect to the sash and which should connect to the door/window frame. The side connected to the three sections of the hinge axis should be fixed to the frame, and the side connected to the two sections of the hinge axis should be fixed to the frame.
(6) During installation, ensure that the hinge axes on the same sash are on the same vertical line to prevent the door/window sash from warping.
